About Pawsitive rescue sanctuary in Surrey
Charity history
Elise was born and raised in a family where animals held a special and central place. Her love and care for them have always been part of who she is, so it felt only natural for her to join the fight for animal protection at just 16 years old. She began with the Brigitte Bardot Foundation, personally rescuing abandoned animals. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, but soon realised her deep empathy made it too emotionally overwhelming to witness animals in pain. Over the years, she has rescued dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, horses, cows, sheeps, and other animals..
An unwavering dedication to animals
She works with some of the best veterinarians in the world and will move mountains to ensure her animals receive the very best care—because when there is life, there is hope, and she will never let an animal down. Her passion for veterinary medicine spans all species, and she constantly seeks new technological advances that could improve animal health. Her vision is to offer innovative treatments that are not only cutting-edge but also accessible to the entire community, for the animals’ sake above all.
In late 2022, she moved to London with her family, and by the end of 2024, she founded Pawsitive Rescue Sanctuary—a UK-based charity dedicated to saving pets across the world. She knows unfortunately she cannot rescue every animal, but every single day she pours her heart, soul, and every ounce of her energy into trying.
